Greetings dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord and another warm greetings to my family in the members church of God international. May the peace of God be with you all. Today I had another privilege to listen to the Word of God through the teachings of our dear Brothers, Brother Daniel Razon and Brother Eli Soriano. I would like to take this opportunity to share my reflection on it to be of help to someone.
Today, Brother Daniel Razon began by sharing the wonderful deeds and love that the Members Church of God International (MCGI) is spreading worldwide. I discovered that they've established free stores in various locations to help those in need, offering essential items without cost. Additionally, amongst the many other care programs, they've built water sources in different communities, ensuring that people have easy and free access to clean water. This shows the church's commitment to providing support and making a positive impact on people's lives across the World.
Before I continue, I'm inviting you to our next Mass Indoctrination session scheduled for November 6, 2023, on Monday. This program has really been a life changer for me. I had the opportunity to get a reorientation to the word of God by the help and teachings of our Dear Brother Eli Soriano. I'm really looking forward to continuing our discussion and sharing my reflections of the Doctrines of Christ during this session.
2 John 1:6 KJV
And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
Brother Daniel thought us from the scriptures that, we need to walk in the commandments of God, and that it's the prove of our love for Christ. It's said in the scripture above that this is love, that we walk in the commandments of Christ. The love of God is that we keep his commandments. But how can we walk in it if we don't know it?
Matthew 28:19 KJV
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Bible commanded his disciples to teach all nations. This is exactly what Brother Eli Soriano and Brother Daniel Razon is doing. The Mass Indoctrination is intended to teach and make disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will study on baptism and all the commandments given to us by Our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 1:9 KJV
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
We see here that the end of our faith is that our souls might be saved.
Romans 1:16 KJV
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
And according to Romans also☝️ it is the gospel (the Doctrines of our Lord Jesus Christ) that has the power to save our souls.
So therefore if we want to truly be saved, we must learn those doctrines, understand them and obey them to be saved. That's why I'm urging you to attend and simply listen. The Members Church of God doesn't pressure anyone to join them; instead, they provide you with the opportunity to hear the teachings of Jesus Christ, and the decision to follow or not is entirely up to your judgment.
Romans 7:12 KJV
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Proverbs 11:9 KJV
An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
It is through the knowledge of the word of God that we will be delivered.
Revenge is the strong feeling or act of hurting someone who has wronged you. While it might provide temporary satisfaction, it ultimately leads to future emotional distress. Brother Daniel should us that Psychologists have found that seeking revenge can have lasting effects on our mental well-being, causing chronic anger and negatively impacting our overall emotional health. Furthermore, it's very bad to our physical health, as it can lead to issues like high blood pressure and even heart problems.
But the question is, what do we do when we hurt by others?
1 Peter 3:9 KJV
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
1 Corinthians 6:7 KJV
Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
Philippians 3:8 KJV
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
Bible teaches us to not to revenge. When we allow people to maltreat us and don't retaliate it doesn't mean we are stupid, rather we are being wise when we endure iniquity for the sake of Christ as Paul says in the scriptures above ☝️
According to our dear brother Eli Soriano, you must forget about the pain, that's the only way to heal.
Psalm 130:3 KJV
If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
If God were to keep track of our sins, it would be impossible for anyone to stand blameless. However, the good news is that God forgives and forgets our sins when we truly repent. This means that if we admit our wrongs and ask for forgiveness, we can move on without the weight of our past mistakes. Now, if God who does not sin, forgives those who sin against him, how much more we who are sinners ourselves? We must learn to forgive and forget.
Matthew 6:15 KJV
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
If we wish to receive forgiveness from God, we should be willing to forgive other people. It's important to remember again that we all make mistakes – just as we expect God to forgive us, we should understand that others make mistakes too. God never makes mistakes, but He's great at forgiving us. Since we're not perfect and make errors, we should also practice forgiveness in our lives.
Matthew 9:13 KJV
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Hebrews 10:5 KJV
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
Brother Daniel inspired us to seize every chance we get to do good for others. He encouraged us to take advantage of any opportunity to help our fellow human beings. This reminder motivates us to make a positive impact whenever we can, whether it's through acts of kindness, charity, or lending a helping hand to those in need. It's a simple but powerful message that reminds us to spread goodness in the world.
Galatians 6:10 KJV
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
MCGI is still showing Christ's love by helping people in their communities. Recently, when a community asked for tools and seeds to grow vegetables, MCGI provided them. This helps the community improve their lives by supporting their farming efforts.
Thank you for stopping by to read my humble reflection, if you live what the church of God is doing, I encourage you to join in and be blessed and be a blessing to others. I hope to see you tomorrow for our Thanksgiving service. Until then, may the peace of God be with you. Amen
