La vida en el campo puede ser sumamente diversa, todo depende de la perspectiva de cada quien, pero para m铆, el trabajo duro y rutinario es una constante, aunque de vez en cuando ocurren ciertos eventos que de alguna manera te sacan de esa rutina.
Lo que quiero compartir hoy, tiene que ver con una situaci贸n que para muchos puede representar un peligro, cosa que es muy cierto teniendo en cuenta el contexto en el que me encuentro, pero en este caso result贸 no ser as铆.
Se trata de un inesperado encuentro con una peque帽a serpiente que pude ver entre mis pies mientras me encontraba realizando labores de jardiner铆a en el patio de mi casa, fue una total sorpresa y un gran susto por supuesto, pero una vez que pude identificar a nuestra peque帽a amiga, alcanc茅 a notar que no se trataba de una especie venenosa, as铆 que respir茅 y tom茅 lo primero que encontr茅 (una botella de pl谩stico) para llevar a la serpiente a un lugar m谩s alejado de cualquier persona, seguro tanto para ella como para mi familia...
Quiero destacar que es costumbre (no se si a nivel global) de los habitantes locales, dar fin a la vida de la serpiente solo por ser ella misma, no importa la raz贸n, siempre terminan matando a esta especie, cosa que me desagrada mucho, recordemos que todos somos igual de importantes en el ecosistema, desde la m谩s peque帽a abeja hasta el m谩s grande elefante.
Nota de inter茅s: para diferenciar entre serpientes venenosas y las que no lo son, debemos fijarnos en las escamas de su cabeza, si estas son anchas o grandes, no es venenosa, en cambio, si son peque帽as o angostas, entonces alejate de inmediato!!!馃ぃ
