AI is getting really good at diagnosing disease (link below) and when combined with other technology such as mobile and human interface devices could not only save lives but bring down the costs. In the same vein it will make specialized care accessible to people everywhere. If you’re an investor this might be one of the killer apps to hunt for. IBM Watson is a leader but several smaller firms are in the space. This could be where the next biotech boom starts.
