It's been 4 days since I got back to the UK and I'm still feeling the effects of jet lag. The main problem is the usual suspect - difficulty in adjusting back to the time difference. The result is that I can't fall asleep until very late at night, much later than the time I should be in bed and I feel tired during the daytime.
So I'm awake now even though I should really be asleep and I know that I'll be tired tomorrow.
Lately, jet lag has been affecting more despite me taking more precautions and efforts to reduce its effects on me. I've tried sleeping for the whole flight (which is tough because I like watching movies a lot) and avoiding alcohol, but it hasn't really been that helpful.
Any ideas for me to try out? Meanwhile, I'll go back to staring at my eyelids and hoping that my brain gives up on its struggle soon...
