Creating Art and Chasing Dreams: My first week on Steemit
As I wrap up my first week on Steemit, I can't help but reflect upon the sense of community and encouragement I have found here. Unlike any other social media site I have joined other users seem genuinely enthusiastic and helpful.
There's a lot to take in, and I honestly don't think I am even close to understanding all the nuances of how it all works, but I am excited to have a platform to share all my creations, and all the behind the scenes stuff I do.
I was concerned that writing articles and sharing my content would be time consuming and take away from my energy put towards my projects, but after only one week I have realized it is only adding another layer of creation to my projects, and I do enjoy writing so that aspect is not difficult at all.
I can envision this becoming a daily aspect of my life, just as creating images either through photography or other art mediums has become routine for me.
The only difficulty I feel like I am having is finding accounts of actual individuals that are passionate about their art/photography/hobby. I am more interested in connecting with people than contest accounts or feature accounts, so if anyone has ideas and tips for me please tell me. Or if you are a creative person that is active on her please say hello!!
