This is a little video of creating a tileset from scratch in Tile Studio II. This is a complete new version of Tile Studio, which uses a different approach. It now uses palettes and indexed graphics instead of simple RGB colors. That way you can easily reuse the same graphics in different colors. You also don't draw to the actual tilesheet, but compose it from tiles you draw on the bitmap, which lets you get the same result with less drawing. Also, by reusing the same graphics, you get the kind of consistency you see in retro games. Changing your graphics is also easy with this approach (as you can see at the end), just by changing one tile in the bitmap, you can change the look of the whole tileset.
