The doctrine of Trinity should not be controversial because " WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE" ..the Bible.

This and other impossible things with men is what makes God, God ; otherwise He is a mere man!!

The Word of God is a"TWO EDGED SWORD" So, Salvation is by both Work and Grace, but working mutually to deliver the Lost!!

Grace is the Potential which must be ACTIVATED by Work to make an impact!! This is why the scripture says " Faith Without Work is DEAD"

Again there is no difference between old and new testament. Both are different side of the same Jesus, being God!!

Explicitly, Jesus said: I DID NOT COME TO CANCEL THE LAW but to make it EFFECTIVE" ( by Grace)!

So, Tithe is a Godly intervention to fund the CHIEF EXECUTIVE PFFICER of God's Business ( Numbers 18: 21--26)

So, Pay your tithe if you have been abdicating. Lol!!
