The Mind is the central power base of the Spiritual man!! Whatever affects the mind reflects either positively or otherwise on the spiritual we'll bring or contrary to the credit of the arch adversery, the Devil.
Thus it can never be overemphasized that the mind must be fortified from the reach of our enemies. This is exemplified by :
KEEP THY HEART WITH ALL DILLIGENTLY, FOR OUT OF IT ARE ISSUES OF LIFE ..... Proverbs 4:23.KJV.
Amplifying this scripture, the New English Translation Bible wrote:
Guard Your Heart (Mind) More than any Treasure, for it is the source of ALL LIFE .... Proverbs 4:23 NEB.
The Heart is so important that it is equated to Life itself!!
Wouldn't you therefore , do ALL that is necessary to fortify it from being evaded by external Intruders??
Why?? This is because the mind is as the Eye to the man!! Whatever it sees and accepts gives shapes and directions to man's life and destiny. This is why the Devil would prefer having the mind of the people blinded by misinformation , than blind physical eyes!!
This becomes obvious because:
FOR TO BE CARNALLY MINDED IS DEATH : BUT TO BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED IS PEACE AND DEATH ....Romans 8: 6
The enemy is constantly hunting for souls to destroy by invading their minds. He took over Peters Mind, and Peter became a devil immediately!! You don't believe??
See this then:
GET BEHIND ME SATAN ... Matthew 16:23.
Jesus was addressing Peter here, but because his mind has been invaded by the devil, he was reasoning , thinking and very soon, he would act the devil !! This was because his minds was anti God here!! Jesus therefore saw the devil in him, instead of Peter!!
Whenever , a believer argue or contest the veracity of the Holy Scriptures as written, note he/ she has become of the devil.
Why??

Also when Satan invaded Judas Iscariot mind , he was destroyed.

Flood your mind , 24/7/30 /12 with the ever conquering Word of God because ::
WHEN THE ENEMY SHALL COME LIKE A FLOOD, THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD SHALL SET A STANDARD AGAINST IT ............. Isaiah 59: 19
The Holy Spirit , being our Comforter and teacher, reminds us of the necessary scriptures to counter the attack of the devil in our minds!!
It is necessary that every believer be DRUNK of the Word of God , not of Alcohol. Be Drunk today!!
