I GOT THE NEED. The Need for Speed!
The reveal trailer for the Need for Speed: Payback game came out yesterday and it looks to have the makings of a great game. To racing game standards. From what I could tell from the trailer it looks like a combination between Forza Horizon, The Crew, and Need for Speed Underground.
In an article by Forbes, it can be compared to a mix between Need for Speed and Fast and Furious. The trailer doesn't go far in depth but gives you enough info to get that turbo spooling. Licensed cars and a movie esque single player campaign, I'm very curious what the online will be like. Although I am a big fan of the series, I wasn't impressed by Rivals.
Being the type of gamer to play through the campaign before I hop online, that will be where the game makes or breaks it for me. With games of every genre moving towards the open world concept, it's not like they don't have much to work with. Judging from the trailer, gameplay will include bank heists, police chases and PAYBACK, of course. The game is scheduled to release November 10th and I couldn't be more exited.
