Hello Splinterlands Warriors!

Greetings to everyone.
I hope you are all doing well and have had a pleasant day. Today, I’d like to share another moment from my Splinterlands journey. Upon logging into the game, I took my daily spin and landed a 'Pit Challenge.' Although I have posted about Pit Challenges before, I’m sharing another one today. Once again, I opted for the 'Normal' difficulty setting; I’ve tried the 'Hard' setting in the past but failed to secure a win, so I decided to stick with 'Normal' this time. While every Pit Challenge is slightly different, I’m happy to report that I emerged victorious in this one as well. Let’s take a look at the ruleset and how the match unfolded. I hope you enjoy it!

When I took my daily spin today, I received a Pit Challenge. Along with the challenge, I also earned 200 Sparks, plus an additional 20 Sparks as a bonus.

After receiving the Pit Challenge from the daily spin, I chose the 'Normal' mode—simply because I haven't been able to win on 'Hard' mode previously. If I had higher-quality cards, perhaps I could have managed a win on 'Hard,' but since I don't, I went with 'Normal' and successfully secured the victory.

This Pit Challenge featured a 99-mana cap, and all elements were active. My opponent’s 'The Big Leronski' card stood out with 7 Attack, 11 Armor, 60 Health, and 2 Speed.

After selecting the 'Normal' mode, I chose the following Summoner and Monster cards for my team.

Summoner

  • Aurelia

Monster

  • No.1 Dire Bear
  • No.2 Buns the Unseen
  • No.3 Giam Root
  • No.4 Dread Tafarian
  • No.5 Khan Feywest
  • No.6 Kicking Roc

Here is how I arranged my lineup for this Pit Challenge. Now, let’s take a look at the match itself.

The first round, the fight started off very well and among the cards on my team, Dire Bear brought this card down to just 4 health.

In Round 3, my team eliminated the 'Dire Bear' card. During this round, my team also reduced the health of the opponent, 'The Big Leronski', from 60 to 40. One of my 6 cards was eliminated, leaving 5 remaining.

By Round 6, my team had eliminated the 'Buns the Unseen' card, and my team’s cards brought the health of the opponent, 'The Big Leronski', down to 19.

In Round 9, my team eliminated the 'Giam Root' card and reduced the health of the opponent, 'The Big Leronski', to 13. Only 3 of my team's cards remained.

In Round 12, my team eliminated the 'Dread Tafarian' card and brought the health of the opponent, 'The Big Leronski', down to just 5. Following this, the match moved into the final round.

Round 13 was the final round; in this round, my team defeated 'The Big Leronski', securing a clean victory.

By winning this Pit challenge, I have earned 500 sparks. The link to the battle is provided below.

Today’s 'Pit Challenge' match lasted for a total of 13 rounds. The gameplay proceeded very well, though the match extended over several rounds due to the high health and armor of 'The Big Leronski'.
