I appreciate that they are trying to do something different but anytime that any game starts to involve elements of "rogue-like" or "rogue-lite" I tend to not really enjoy it. I do not like dying and then being reduced to a pea shooter and I also don't enjoy time-based games where you feel so rushed to quickly acquire better weapons before the system starts to throw things at you that you are not meant to be able to conquer with the "wrong" loadout. So while I never played this game I can already tell that it wouldn't be for me. Call me old-school if you must but when I get a powerup, I want to keep it.
