as someone who has purchased crap headphones many times over I can say that it is worth it to buy some good quality ones. All of the headphones I have had in the past have fallen apart, or had a loose wire somewhere inside of them after just a little while so getting something that is going to last 6 years is worth the extra cost.

At this moment in time I have 2 sets of headphones that I really just need to throw in the trash that are currently sitting on a shelf on the other side of the room from me right now.
