I skipped ahead to the Mother Brain battle to see if it was just as frustrating as I remember from all those years ago and yes, it is. The graphical slowdown with the disappearing from screen entirely and then falling into the lava right in front of the brain that is so difficult to get out of while your life fades away. haha, I think that just rewoke some gaming ptsd for me.
