Why Sega never continued the Illusion series of games is beyond me. World of Illusion was amazing and showed Sega could make an action-adventure game in the style of Super Mario
I think they did do a follow up like in the past 10 years but perhaps it wasn't made by Sega since they don't really do much anymore these days. The reboot was unable to capture the magic that the surprisingly amazing original game on Genesis did though. I recall absolutely loving this game and completely not expecting to because of the childish nature of it.
