At first I didn't like the idea behind it because i missed the disks and little booklets that came with them. Then I had a few games get melted in a parked car and also moved to a new house. Not needing to move 313 game cases was quite a relief and the fact that Steam saves all of your game progress even if you uninstall it is pretty fantastic in my mind. I like this aspect of the PS4 / PS5 as well. I presume Xbox does the same but I don't own one of those.
