The last season pass that I got involved in was with Diablo 4 and I feel as though at least at first they were doing a good job making those add ons actually seem meaningful. At this point though I think that D4 has kind of run its course and and new season is just a speed run for the people who have truly mastered that game and I dunno, they don't really seem to enjoy it, they are just pursuing max builds and they figure it out so quickly that people like me that try to enjoy the story and the world end up feeling bad about the crap build that we made. I remember not that long ago that D3 remaster had more players per day than the latest D4 season did. I stopped playing either of these a while ago but D4 to this day remains the most hours I have logged on any game post MMO days.
