Since the time PCs began to appear in the early 1980s, laptop seems to be answer to the yearning of people's heart to have a computer to move around. The biggest problem to be considered was power to drive the equipment against 110volts and 220volts required to drive desktop computers mobility of PCs will need a source it mobile source of power generation i.e . battery, and PCs components that uses less power low power monitor, CPU,chip set, hard drive and CD ROM are the major factors to be considered. The big challenge was reliability and functionality. Today we have laptop batteries that last several hours ,memory capacity that runs into gigabytes of ram and hard disks size if hundred of gigabytes.
