In a world where anything that could be considered offensive despite offense being relative to each individual person can be banned, steemit stands as a bastion of free speech. In today's social/political climate its surprising the price of steem is not through the roof. As the war on free speech goes on I predict more and more people will flock here for the lack of censorship. Steemit is the most important thing to happen to social media since its invention. Its one of the few places you can speak your mind regardless of what you may have on it without risk of being banned. I have no doubt that it will overtake all other platforms within the coming years. I for one will be taking advantage of the current price and buying as much as I can before it explodes and I have no doubt that it will.
