I know some wish SteemIt's stake wouldn't vote at all, but they do and have had delegations out for a long time. Guys, SteemIt Inc's stake is not our stake. Let them own it and manage it. It's worse than centralized when we pretend it is community Steem. It just isn't.
Personally, I think the more delegations they have out there the better, distribution is a good thing. Stimulating a stagnant economy is also a good thing. Before you get all upset about that, they are not the government they are a private stakeholder and can do what they want.
I am not burning my Steem nor do I think burning Steem is a good idea yet. We need a better distribution, not scarcity. Yes, I care about the price too, but first I care about building, onboarding, and other improvements. Feel free to vote for @smooth's
@burnpost if you want to burn Steem. I'm for adding more people, more things to do, more holders. (I've been hearing a lot of burn steem cries lately, and at some point it wouldn't hurt)
Decentralized mostly matters to me in terms of can 1 party ruin Steem by dying or stealing. This manage by community thing is nuts. It's DPOS not Community run. You control the amount of influence that you own, plus if you are a good communicator you can use your voice to sway others. Who on Earth do you think you are yelling at everyone on how to use their stake. No one here is accountable to anyone else other than in terms of voting and stake weighted decisions.
I'm more focused on the Tribes now anyway, the way we manage content on Steem is just to big of a turn off to be appealing and if you want to complain about all the bidbots, I will say it isn't the bid bots it is the lack of up and down curation,... which stems from poor distribution. Which is why I hold every position above. Only a handful can make a meaningful difference on adding or subtracting big votes and they don't or will not. No matter how the votes got there.
If you aren't using SteemPeak you should be.
If you aren't playing in any of the tribes you should check them out, while still imperfect it really shows what even a minimum amount of curation can do for the user experience.
If you try to scam the Tribes by posting your shit using all the tags, you suck. Don't wreak the tribes, we know how this turns out.
Zero Tolerance if you don't know what the tag does don't use it.
this person contacted me to remove a Downvote after using all the tags on things that obviously do not fit the tags.
Before you think I am too mean, I've dealt with this abuser who liked to give himself drama tokens and kept "trying to understand" but just couldn't stop accidentally giving himself tokens.
