If you have been following along I made a half joking post about adopting a minnow and it brought back some early ideas I had on mentoring.
Thanks for "getting the vision" and for your sense of humor and getting this was supposed to be a win/win. Thanks for not protesting when I asked you to go to the sweatshop and put your head on fishes and such!
For my first Minnow I picked and it turned into so much more than I thought it would. I found someone who I now consider friend. It was my job to get her some visibility to gain some attention and visibility and her job to be a Steemian that will add great content and an interesting personality to the SteemIt community. If you haven't already, check out her Blog. She is a cool lady - she even has a cool dog, she eats great food, has great hair, travels to interesting places, has an adorable loving family that she enjoys. I thought we would be promoting each other and instead I found someone who I really like.
So, In about a week, I think I will be adopting a new minnow. had a fishtribute that I truly appreciated, her amazing ability to Photoshop her face on fish. I really didn't know how important that skill was to me until I had
as a minnow.
Next Chapter:
In about 1 week I will select a new minnow.. The tryouts have gotten harder. To be considered for adoption you must make a post to show your skillz at pasting your face on fish... Or any other talent. Blog it, vlog it, sing it, do interpretive dance. Use the tag #adoptaminnow
Don't worry that there is only one of me, the point is to make your posts so amazing that other Dolphins and Whales would also like to adopt you. This is about Interesting, This is about GREAT Content!
To be considered you must hold 1k or less Steem Power, have at least a few quality posts under your belt. After that just be creative.
If you hate my contest and think it is unfair you can write about that as well.
I will begin reviewing posts on that tag one week from today.
Good Luck Minnows Tell your friends.
