Because I want to reply to all the answers, I am gonna do it this way :)
I see there a some people having questions about SEO for Steemit. I am in progress of making the most comprehensive guide for STEEMIT SEO. I hope I can post it here on https://reggaesteem.io too because I am afraid almost nobody will see it and make use of it. ( so cryptocitty please don't downvote;))

• @shanibeer: Hi Sister :D! Only the first tag will be picked up by Google. This should be your main tag and must correlate with the topic of your post the most. I didn't do that correctly in this post, because I didn't write it for SEO purpose. The other tags seems like they are only used to get your post on more tribes or tags inside the steemit chain. So first should be the tag that sticks, and similar with your main keyword
• You should at least try to get 500 words that are about your keyphrase or the phrase you want to rank for on Google. IF you see other post about your Keyword that have 2000 words, you make it 2500 and 10x better. Also pictures and media is important. Before you upload your images. Give them the names of your main keywords and words that are similar. (Keyword/phrase-research). ALSO the text between the brackets (anchor-text) should be about the topic.

@doitvoluntarily: Yes I think StmInc should ad some kind of future like that again. Or something that shows how many traffic you generate organicaly through search-engines and reward authors who write sick content and drive traffic to the block.
