They certainly are the definition of Skyscrapers. High Rise, seems to be the cut down term, more generalised. I know what you mean with the negative connotation, as with the tower blocks in London.

So I hear, although it's mostly supposed to be ice and such. Hopefully nothing at all but you never know. Many said that the BFTE was going to be nothing but then the snow fell... and kept falling ;-)
