We are much like books...
Our behavior and our attitude toward
others presents as the front cover.
Our bodies (for all that they are) rest
as the many pages, and the scars upon
us both physical and the psychological
are the words that recount our story
But only those with the fortitude to
look past the cover and the courage
to read everything from beginning
to end with an open mind shall
be rewarded with understanding.
To be able to look upon the true soul
that hides deep within the very heart
of each and every book once that
happens a new chapter can begin for all.
