What a kind soul you are! I hope you remembered to bring
sunscreen!! I must interject for the sake of transparency (not that it matters) and say that in the beginning, the issue was with our furnace. The drain tube was not installed properly and flooded our subfloor in the kitchen for over a year. The shower in the secondary bathroom (pick above) was also leaking but had nothing to do with the handyman we had helping us with our furnace. Regardless... this was a wonderful post, and I truly appreciated the thought, sentiment, and caring that you sent out. While I receive my payments from Disability (NOT the VA) it is also irrelevant; I have been waiting to be approved for a Veterans Pension for almost a year. Non-service related, so probably why it is taking so long! I read your post aloud to the family, and they all smiled and told me to tell you how awesome you are. @galenkp should give you that "front row" parking slot for this post lol...
