This is a post for our dear friend @wolfhart

Growing up... when someone was having a hard time in life, whether from health, finances, or special needs, the Church joined together, and prepared a special meal, or had an ice cream social or both. Later in life; if the same situation came about... usually at work, someone would get a very nice card... such as "Get Well"... and then walked around and had everyone put their signature, plus an amount of money if they could. This post is an attempt to do just that...
