The Dachshund (Wiener Dog)
I love these dogs! I help take care of a friends wiener dog and she is adorable! Here she is at Wiener Palooza, a meetup for dachshund lovers in Ottawa. Some of the proceeds went to the Canadian Dachshund Rescue Ontario. The dachshund is German for "badger dog" which were bred to to go into the badgers holes and chase them out. Hence their short legs and long bodies.
