My first helicopter ride 🚁 (ENG/ESP)

Hello friends, greetings to everyone. This February, some very nice things have happened to me, but without a doubt there was one experience that was very special and that I never thought I would experience. That is precisely what I want to tell you a little about today, about my first helicopter ride, and I say my first because I don't want it to be the last, as it was a wonderful experience.

It was all thanks to the company where I work, you see the owner of the company has a helicopter and from time to time he comes to the company in it to reward his workers and motivate them by giving them the opportunity to experience such a cool ride. Ever since I arrived at the company I have seen on several occasions how they choose workers for the ride, whether they are from the production area or the offices, and this time it was my turn, it was a great surprise for me.

This is how it happened...

I was sitting quietly on my lunch break on a bench in the tree house while talking to my husband on video call. At that moment I saw the helicopter arriving and it's always great to see it landing, and since I was quite close, the air was blowing quite hard in my face.

Suddenly one of the bosses came up to me and said: "Let's go for a walk, Wendy." Imagine my surprised face at that moment, but at the same time I didn't hesitate for a second and accepted. Everything happened very quickly, the other chosen workers were already boarding the helicopter and all I could think about was that I was about to live a spectacular experience and that I wasn't going to miss it.

When I got into the helicopter I put on my seat belt and headphones, apart from the pilot there was room for five more people. We quickly began to ascend and the company became smaller and smaller. Of course I was nervous at first, but once we were up I felt calmer, because the truth is it feels quite stable.

The best thing was obviously the beautiful view of the city, as it is a city where nature abounds, I could see the mountains, rivers and the houses looked very small. From time to time the pilot boasted of his skills and made us go down very fast which made us all scream, it felt the same as when you go down on a roller coaster, a rush of adrenaline.

We took a tour around the city and then we went back to the company. What can I say? It was a wonderful experience, something new that I experience here in Brazil and I loved every moment of it. I think it was a very nice surprise from the company and I am very grateful that they thought of me to live this experience.

Hola amigos, saludos para todos. Este mes de febrero me han pasado cosas muy bonitas, pero sin dudas hubo una experiencia que fue muy especial y que nunca pensé que me tocaría vivir. Precisamente de eso quiero contarles un poquito hoy, de mi primer paseo en helicóptero, y digo mi primer porque no quiero que sea el último, pues fue una experiencia maravillosa.

Todo fue gracias a la empresa donde trabajo, pues el dueño de la misma posee un helicóptero y de vez en cuando llega a la empresa en él para recompensar a sus trabajadores y motivarlos al darles la oportunidad de vivir esta experiencia. Desde que llegué a la empresa ya he visto en varias ocasiones como eligen a trabajadores para el paseo, ya sean del área de producción o de las oficinas, y esta vez me tocó a mi, fue una gran sorpresa.

Así fue como pasó...

Yo estaba muy tranquila en mi horario de almuerzo, sentada en un banco de la casa del árbol mientras hablaba con mi esposo por video llamada. En ese momento vi que llegaba el helicóptero y siempre es genial verlo aterrizar, además como estaba bastante cerca el aire me daba bastante fuerte en la cara.

De pronto se me acerca uno de los jefes y me dice: "Vamos a dar un paseo Wendy". Imagínense mi cara de sorpresa en ese momento, pero a la vez no lo dudé ni un segundo y acepté. Todo fue muy rápido, los demás trabajadores elegidos ya estaban subiendo al helicóptero y solo podía pensar en que estaba a punto de vivir una experiencia espectacular y que no la iba a desaprovechar.

Al subir al helicóptero me puse el cinturón de seguridad y los audífonos, aparte del piloto había espacio parar cinco personas más. Rápidamente empezamos a ascender y la empresa se fue haciendo cada vez más diminuta. Por supuesto que sentí nervios al principio, pero una vez que nos elevamos me quedé más tranquila, pues la verdad se siente bastante estable.

Lo mejor obviamente fue la hermosa vista de la ciudad, pues es una ciudad donde abunda la naturaleza, pude ver las montañas, ríos y las casas se veían muy pequeñas. De vez en cuando el piloto alardeaba de sus habilidades y nos hacía bajar muy rápido que nos hacía gritar a todos, se sentía igual a cuando vas bajando en una montaña rusa, una descarga de adrenalina.

Dimos un recorrido por toda la ciudad y luego volvimos a la empresa. ¿Qué puedo decirles? Fue una experiencia maravillosa, algo nuevo que vivo aquí en Brasil y amé cada momento. Pienso que fue una sorpresa muy bonita por parte de la empresa y estoy muy agradecida de que pensaran en mi para vivir esta experiencia.
