Challenges I faced on hive as Newbie

Hello everyone! It is another exciting week to participate in the Hive Ghana engagement topics. I extend my profound greetings to the leadership of this community, especially @mcsamm and @collinz. I was busy putting things in place at school as we were to start the end-of-semester exams, which kept me away for some time. I hope to remain active from now on.

My hive challenges are what keep me learning and surfing this platform at all times to learn and be aware of the current trends on hive. I faced a lot of problems when I first signed up on this platform. I never give up, and I always seek assistance from my friend, @life.ofabdul. Thanks a lot to him. There are numerous problems I faced, which I will highlight in this post.

Navigation through the decentralized applications on Hive was one of the challenges I faced when I was enrolled on the Hive platform. I cannot say that I am well-versed in using these applications. I love learning new things. I was able to cope with these applications and have learned some of these DApps on Hive. But it is so unfortunate that I don't like using these applications. I have always spent more time on the hive engine than on these applications.

Another challenge I faced was creating and making quality posts on the Hive platform. It was difficult to build something creative that would attract readers attention on Hive. I have that kind of feeling that this is not necessary on this platform, and I should not waste my time on it.

This hinders my participation, activeness, and involvement in the hive. I studied trends and posts that attract users attention and started creating something beneficial to the hive. My activeness improved when I discovered Hiveghana and Hive Student Hub. Thanks to everyone in these communities, as I have learned a lot through their posts and tutoring.

Curating on posts affected me mentally. My posts were not curated as a newbie. I started to have the feeling that this is a biased system based on who you know. It took some time, but my friend @life.ofabdul advised me to keep posting; the rewards will come themselves. I continued and started receiving rewards on my posts with time. It was a challenge to me, which nearly made me exit the platform. I later discovered it is a learning medium, and I should not spend too much on what I earn on posts.
