Tonight, as i dive deeper into my community pour chest, ill show you one of the my most special silver pours. With #secretsanta literally just behind us, ill be showing off an amazing piece of silver art I recieved from a secret santa a few years back.
This beautiful little, 1.05oz, handpoured silver star, was custom made for me by non-other than 
She took secret santa to a whole new level, and really went above and beyond for this present of mine. As you can imagine, custom made, silver art doesnt come cheap.... i know, as ive bought from BYB many a time.
Although, she was incredibly smart by ordering direct from BYB, as hes located here in the UK, he sent it to me directly and Saver888 saved on international postage...
What makes backyardbullion's pieces so unique is that everyone of his silver bars he makes gets sent tocthe Edinburgh assets office to be hallmarked and tested for purity.
So every piece he pours gets his "leaf" logo hand stamped on it, as well as his Edinburgh asset "BYB" identifier, plus the purity and year date of manufacture on it:

“Sponsors Mark” - BYB in this “pill” shape is unique to him.
“Purity Mark" - 999 in this circular shape signifies silver and of at least 999 purity.
“Assay Office Mark” - The castle is the mark of the Edinburgh Assay Office.
“Date Letter” - The year letter for 2017 is “S”.
