These were very expensive.... ok, what i mean by that is, expensive premiums over the spot price. I paid £41 for this years BYB bar(inc p&p).

Backyardbullion stuff does have resale value, and id say his stuff does sell for more than spit price. Youve got his name/reputation as a factor, youve got the collectors value and youve got the assey reasurance value. Would I get my money back, NO CHANCE!!I may do, if spot price continues to climb, there will be a point where the premiums will recoup the price i paid, but thata a long way off yet.

For me, the reason i buy them is Purley a self-indulgence. Theyre my little guilty pleasure and i love them. I have a box full of community poured silver that ive over paid for, but you cant really put a price of the value i give to the community. So for me its well worth it, for others maybe not.
