Sir Elton John has been having a bit of a revival lately, not that he ever went away, to be fair..... With the immense success of the "Rocketman" film based on his life(main CHARACTER played by a Welsh man too), his 2019 autobiography, his successful lockdown benefit gig and now a set of tremendously fancy coins celebrating his contributions to music and culture.
BU uncirculated - face value £5(cost £13)
The Royal Mint in Llantrisant, South Wales, is offering a range of Elton money, which like most commemorative coins has different prices to its face values.

The cheapest Elton coin costs £13, but shows a face value of £5. The most expensive has a face value of £1,000 and costs a staggering (and very specific) £68,865. Said £70-grand trinket is a one-kilogram gold proof coin, of which only four are available -- though I would question whether even that is too many.
