Ive been a little quiet lately about this game. For the past 4 months, since the beginning, I've been busy prospecting away. I've still been seeking to make my fortune in the gold fields of

Expansion pack
Just over 1 week ago, the developers over at Prospectors managed to find new ground, filled with the resources needed to keep the game growing. Obviously players were made aware of this and everyone was ready and waiting to explore the new found lands. The "new" gold rush was on!!
I was incredibly lucky and managed to be first to discover 2 exciting little plots that no one had claimed yet. So risking my hard earned gold I staked a claim to my first plot of land on
I had discovers a quiet plot with a few unknown resources on it. I could see it had 400k gold in the ground, but what else was waiting for me?? I didn't have long to make my decision.... Other prospectors were making their way to this plot. If I didn't buy it, I knew someone else would.
Result!! I was now the owner of plot 08/26. In a game where resources are key to success, it wasn't long before I was looking for my next plot to discover.
I sent my men out on a hunt for more land and there, only a few kilometres away was this unclaimed plot.
It didn't have the same resources as my first plot, but I knew that in a game where GOLD was king, having an extra 400k would always be to my benefit.
So now I owned 08/26 & -01/26, what was I goi g to do with them??? Do I get straight down to mining the gold OR do I dig out all the coal, clay and ore at 08/26??
Well the answer was neither......
PROFIT
It didn't take long before I started receiving messages from other prospectors, asking me if I was willing to sell my newly acquired plots. The great thing about blockchain technology is that everything is open. So every player knew what I had just paid for my new plots, and everyone offered me considerably more that what I had just paid.
My mind was made up! It would be nice to be my own boss, but being a plot owner becomes almost like a full time job.... Keeping the cash-flow going through creating jobs and selling everything I dig out the ground.... That sound like too much like hard work.
I was going to sell my new plots, make some quick profits and continue to make my fortune through hard graft (at the times that suited me).

You see, it's not all about making the most profit, sometimes it's about makingnone at all.
I knew that the 2 Prospectors I had in mind would make full use of these plots. They would do a better job that I could ever do at extracting all the resources from them. I reached out and with no more than a verbal handshake, the plots exchanged hands.
I was happy, they were happy....
The best part was knowing that I would have unlimited job opportunities working on the plot I had just sold. I can come and go as I please and still make a few ££ everyday.

Once you've signed up (just follow my link), you'll be taken to the prospector.io game. You'll be given the same 3 characters as everyother player. You'll find yourself at the centre of the game world 00/00.
From here, my first tip would be to find work. Simply search the tool bar for jobs :
If like me, you haven't invested anything in to the game, you won't be able to buy any tools straight off.
This leaves you with one option - transport jobs. This just means you use your 3 characters to move other people's resources around the map.
By searching for just transport jobs, it brings a long list of jobs that are waiti g to be filled. This would be my first tip on getting a foothold in the game.
It will take several trips and several days to generate enough gold to buy some tools. Finding the best transport jobs that take you to the next transport job can be a bit tricky at first, but it will all pay off in the long run.
