It's very hard to get close to a stunning creature like this and you probably wouldn't want to. I believe this is a Red-Tailed Hawk (correct me if I'm wrong please) and they have very sharp claws, a beak that is meant to rip and they fly, so they should be high in the sky. This is where I usually see them.
On this day I was visiting the Toronto Zoo and the handler had him out and about teaching people walking along the path about them. Unfortunately, I was too mesmerised by his beauty that I forgot much of what they said :/
I do know the poor guy came in as a rescue, having lost an eye, and the Zoo was rehabilitating him.
I hope one day he will be able to soar again!
