I just started studying portraits and I always encounter this kind of proportion problems and whenever I did I would just stare at my work for long until I figure it out😆 or if not I would just leave it and do something else to refresh my mind when I get back to my work I can recognize them it works like magic🤣. I should also try using that grid technique next🤔🤔

Flipping the canvas also works if I feel something isn't quite right with my portrait.
