Streamr is a project that provides data to a decentralization application (Dapp) running on a blockchain.
Streamr process the non-refined data from various devices on the Internet (IoT) into usable forms of information. This provides convenient functionality for application developers to easily leverage their data.
Data created in various categories can be bought and sold in the Streamr Data Market. The currency for this is the Streamr token 'DATA'. It is also possible to create automatic data markets between devices. This is the same as buying a subscription for a specific service and subscribing.
