Especially after that wild hair guy SBF screwed with everyone's money with "classic embezzlement" tactic, Nothing in Crypto looked safe anymore.

Except one place that I am still seeing it behaving like the BTC themed the last decade - "honey badger don't care"

And it seems to be none other than #splinterlands

After seeing them the first launch, speaking to the founders of the game in-person in Bangkok 2019, seems that #hive and Splinterlands are still running as it is.

Rain or shine, Bear or Bull; it kept running

The entire community kept engaging with one another, everyone still kept playing, writing, exchanging, looking at the ecosystem it is still alive.

And I am really grateful that I found this place 5 years ago

I really don't want to jinx it.

Let's keep hoping for the best for this community who loves to share and write.

At this point of time, I remembered a hive-ian told me months ago before HIVE Fest and before all this meltdown happened; that staking in HIVE (power up, savings) and staking in Splinterlands is better than anywhere else.

At least this place is still running.

How true.

And even how busy I am with totally no time for games these days, I will keep harvesting and staking on the game.

Maybe later I will have enough to upgrade all my cards and then play again.

But apparently Novice players can't use upgraded cards until re-instated rankings haha...

I have a long way to go to restart my battle strengths again. There are too many super competitive players out there now. I kept getting slaughtered
