Today, I configured the bot so that it automatically “reblogs” everything it votes on. However, I decided to stop the testing at this point to avoid unnecessarily overloading the blockchain. I’m also not entirely sure how useful this feature really is in the long run, so it still needs to be evaluated.
For testing purposes, I increased the voting power from 3.5% to 4% to observe how it affects the voting mana. The goal is to see whether it remains stable without dropping too quickly. I’ll continue running these tests for a while, and if the mana holds up well, I’ll gradually increase it to 5%.
Over the weekend, I plan to upload the code for this small bot to GitHub. It might be useful for anyone interested in running it locally. I’ll also include a brief explanation to make it easier to set up and use.
In addition, I’ve ordered a small dedicated PC to run the bot continuously, 24/7, without lag or interruptions. Today, the bot barely voted because the computer it’s currently running on went through an update, which disrupted its operation.
On a completely different note, a few hours ago I thought, “Nice, a storm is coming with heavy rain… finally some fresh air, we’ll be able to breathe!” Unfortunately, it only lasted about 30 minutes. The sun quickly came back, along with intense heat. So in the end, it didn’t really help at all…
Please, dear bearded man in the sky, open the tap for a few days straight and give our poor planet a proper watering — it’s starting to suffer from serious dehydration… 🌧️
