Hello everyone! How are you doing today? I hope your day is going well and that you have something nice planned. As for me, today is probably going to be the toughest day of my week because I’m working from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Every Wednesday, I have to give the gyms a thorough cleaning. It’s not exactly the task I look forward to most, especially since there’s quite a lot to do and the day can feel endless. I have to cover the large floor areas, make sure I don’t miss any spots, and leave everything clean for the people who’ll be using the facilities afterwards. It may not be the most exciting job, but it’s an important part of my work, so I just have to get on with it!

Fortunately, I don’t have to do everything by hand: I have a floor-cleaning machine to help me. It saves time and takes care of a lot of the manual work. But, of course, it isn’t cordless… So, like every Wednesday, I’ll have to wrestle with the extension cords. I have to move them around, make sure they don’t get caught, and try not to trip over them while I’m cleaning. I’ve got used to working this way, but it still feels like a little challenge every time. You might think an extension cord is no big deal, but when you have to deal with one for hours, it can quickly become the star of the day! 😅

Wednesdays are usually long, tiring, and not exactly fun. But that’s part of adult life and the working world: some days are better than others, and sometimes you just have to find the motivation to keep going. I’ll try to stay positive, tackle things one step at a time, and look forward to the moment I can finally head home, put my feet up, and enjoy a quiet evening.

I just hope the day goes by quickly. When you have a long shift ahead, it’s probably best not to keep checking the time and to focus on what still needs to be done. And once the work is finished, I’ll be able to tell myself that the hardest day is behind me and that the rest of the week should be easier. It’s a small consolation, but sometimes that’s all the motivation you need!

One more thing: in about two weeks, I may be a little less active online. I’ll have a 40-hour working week, which will probably take quite a bit of energy. After a full day at work, I might be too tired in the evenings to spend as much time on my projects or post as often as I usually do. I’ll probably still make a small reward distribution for my projects, as I normally do, but I can’t promise I’ll have the time or energy to do much more.

That week is still a little way off, so I’m not going to worry about it just yet. I’ll tell you more when it gets closer and see how I can organise things. I’d still like to keep in touch with you, even if I need to slow down for a few days. Maybe I can prepare some posts in advance and schedule them to be published during that week. That way, there’ll still be a little something to read, even if I’m not available to write or reply in real time.

It could also be a good opportunity to share some topics that are a little different from the ones I usually talk about. I still have plenty of ideas and little things to share beyond my projects, but I haven’t always had the time to put them into words. Preparing a few posts in advance could be a nice way to vary the content and let you discover some other things I enjoy or find interesting.

For now, though, I’ll focus on getting through this Wednesday and its long shift. I hope you all have a wonderful day—and hopefully a more enjoyable schedule than mine! And if you also have a busy day ahead, hang in there: we’ll get through it. 😄
