A secret place only locals know about
My friends took me to this secret place only locals know about. The place called 'Top of the world' in Arcata, Humboldt county, California. This place, you really can't find it on Google Maps as when you search for it, it shows you some place else. Also, if you try to pin it on the map yourself, the pin would always move.
My friends tried to find this place many times before they found it as they always gave up on the way. The ride was almost half an hour into the middle of nowhere and at one random corner, they pulled over. There's a bit of a hike like 2 minutes from the road before you see this gorgeous 180 degree view.
We got some burrito and had a little picnic there. Lovely! I wish I could share the location but if you ever pass by and want to have the same lovely picnic, just ask any locals here, they know! :)
