In this video I'm going to go over the provisional results from staking vs running a masternode with Syndicate coin. I now have just over 2 weeks of data for both reward systems. The figures are as follows:
Staking (16 day sample)
3612 coins staked
12.5 coins a day earned
Equates to 1263 coins a year per 1000 coins
Masternode (17 day sample)
5000 coins locked in masternode
12.35 coins a day earned
Equates to 902 coins a year per 1000 coins
Please bear in mind these are provisional results with only a couple of weeks of data for each type. I am working on building up my number of syndicate so that I can run a 5000 staking vs 5000 masternode experiment in a month or so. The amount earned through a masternode is also affected by the number of masternodes online (currently 723)
