Unboxing a new found Portuguese Egg Tart recommended by my sister. Apparently this is also my mum's favourite.
Personally, I am a fan of the traditional egg tart (with butter crust) more than a Portuguese Egg Tart but this egg tart surprised me with two details.
First is the crust, it is very similar to cheesecake crust. Aromatic, crispy yet thin and compact. Thin enough to hold the egg mixture within it. đź‘Ť
Second point is there are a few juicy raisins hidden at the bottom of the crust which will give u a sweet surprise ending as you finishing the tart. Children will definitely like this pleasant surprise.
