Cervantes Contest

 In @cervantes' project we want to keep betting on the writers that show their literary quality in Steemit using Spanish in their works. That's why we're going to launch the contest we're explaining below. 

 The contest is divided in two different phases. The first phase is going to be a 10 weeks one, starting today and will last until ends of august (31.08.2017). The first week winners will be announced next Sunday. The second phase will last 15 days and It will finish on the 16.09.2017.

 

                                                                      First Phase

 In this phase, we'll choose an artist's work from any of the art branches: painters, sculptors, architects, musicians, etc. From that chosen image or video, each participant will make a personal interpretation of it, without any type of limitation, you can use your knowledge about the work, you can make an interpretation with a touch of humor or you just can write what this work recalls you. **Any format is accepted: text, video or audio.**

Basis of the first phase contest

• If the post is text, it must be written in Spanish with a minimum of 350 words. Poetry can be shorter
• The content must be 100% original, if we have evidences that there's been plagiarism, the user will be automatically excluded of the contest and flagged.
• Every user can participate just once every week.
• To identify the post, the title must be: "Concurso Cervantes: 1ª Entrega" and the article must be posted with just these two tags: "spanish concursocervantes"
• At the end of the post you'll have to embed a text making reference to the contest sponsorship by the witness @cervantes. For example like this:

First Phase Jury.

The jury will be formed by the @cervantes project's curators.

PRIZES FOR THE WEEKLY WINNERS POSTS in the first phase.

All participants will be rewarded with a 5% vote of the Cervantes' Trail

                                                                    First Prize: 40 STEEM
                                                                  Second Prize: 20 STEEM
                                                                      Third Prize: 10 STEEM

                                                        Second Phase (Final)

Among the 10 first phase contest winners, a new contest will be set, it's not established yet. The new contest basis will be published in September 2nd and the participants will have time enough to submit/publish their works until September 9th.The jury will announce the winner in a post published by @cervantes user between September 15th-17th.

Second Phase contest PRIZE

The second phase prize will be a 'Cervantes Ticket' to assist to the SteemFest2 that will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 1st till November the 5th. This ticket will have:

• Financing the flight ticket within a maximum of 1000 SBD.
• Financing the hotel costs of those days in Lisbon (1st-5th Nov.) within a maximum of 500 SBD.
• 100 SBD a day for food and expenses.

 

                                                               CERVANTES' CONTEST: FIRST WEEK

 He was a multitalented Spanish artist known worldwide not only for his work, but also for being one of the main representative of the Surrealism movement.With a modern and extremely bizarre personality, who provoked a lot of people critics and at the same time the compliments of many others. His surrealist paintings were able to transport us to amazing worlds in reach to just a few minds.The work we've chosen is 'The Memory persistence', also known as 'The soft clocks' or 'The Melted Clocks'. It's one of the most representative Dalí's paintings, finished in 1931.In this first edition of #concursocervantes you'll have to get in this surrealist genius mind and express all what this amazing work of art makes you feel.
