this is an eye opening post to someone like me who has no clue about how all this works. A friend recommended Hive and he was like "Let's do this for fun!". "We can make some money on the way and get better at writing stuff and making content!".

I always liked writing and I thought "As long as people find value and like my content I will keep writing." Since, I am new to this. I have not really comment a lot or got deep into how this works, but I never got that Instagram/facebook narc vibe.

The " sniff of attention " part in your article describes our whole society in general. The whole world, pretty much. The fact that that this has not turned into another Tik-Tok and people downvote selfies and egotistical personalities is pretty awesome way of managing the system. Few bad apples will drop once in a while, but that's ok. Everyone eventually gets what they deserve. I hope everyone has an amazing week!
