Hope you are having a good weekend filled with positive energies and peace all around you.
Last week I have been exploring again, going on a few short roadtrips after work, on well known hiking trails, within myself and started reading a new book. I've passed a tiny village called Lukovica probably hundreds of times mostly on the hihway, this week I stopped and had a good look around their castle that is slowly falling apart, but after all these years still looking strong, from the outside.
Better than copy paste, I leave a link to Wikipedia, I say Wiki knows everything! :)
Found a perfect parking spot, not sure if it is allowed, but for those 15minutes of walkaround and looking threw rocks of very old history it probably didn't hurt anyone. It was a nice sunny weather, warm and I observed the outside with a walk around the castle, peaking threw the small opennings with a wish to get in it somehow.
It had a square shape with many beautiful lines around the opennings, it got bigger as I walked around it. Behind it I found an openning in the flor and around the corner I found my entry point I was wishing for.
Ofcourse I snugged in and had a quick look around it, had a special vibe, was covered in moss and small tree's as nature took control of the castle long time ago.
Everything inside the castle fell apart long ago, the moss covered up every rock nicely and vines crawled up on the walls. It was time to leave and continue my journey, but I had to take a few shots of this peace of history. This year there are many events live again from racing events to historical events, looking for an event in the city Celje where I was also born, that has rich midevil history and a wonderful rebuild castle I didn't visit for about 10 years. Think it's time to visit it again.
I'm really grateful to be able to walk, drive my car and live in a country with rich history, I bet there are over 100 more castles to explore. Thankful to be a part of this amazing community and to you, yes you for taking time to stop by and staying Hivemazing.:)
