Where did that come from??? What the heck??? OHHHH....I wondered why the plastic over the window in my upstairs bedroom was whipping so badly a couple of weeks ago when we had those wild southern winds. The winds can be horrid up here on the hill. I had my little heater running full blast and could not get my room above 58. I beleive in conserving energy, but come on!. I even had my stocking cap on. No joke! 
Not to worry, I have a plan!! That makes me smile for personal reasons. Lets just say, when my husband was still here and he saw me leave the house with a hammer or a screwdriver, he was right behind me to see what brilliant idea I had come up with this time. :) Those were the days.
Yes, I do have a plan. I do have another window to put in the hole, but my carpenter friend hasn't come back from his winter retreat in the valley just yet. He is a sissy and doesn't like winter much. Seriously, he's been helping his Mom who has Alzheimers. He's a great guy. So, in the mean while I have a roll of screen and some heavy duty see through plastic that I will cover the hole with.
As you can see it is going to take a little shuffling to get to the window. I am going to dismantle my greenhouse plastic and light since I will be moving my house plants outside to the balcony soon. Then I can move my loom back out of the way. I'm waiting on a little warmer weather before I open that hole up.
