Good morning,
For those who have loved my writing and stop by to read what I have to say, you may have noticed that I have recently been getting downvotes from a whale. According to investigations which I suspect to be true, this whale @markymark is downvoting my posts because another whale
@xeldal is upvoting my posts.
I dropped messages anywhere I felt I could reach @markymark for I thought I deserved an explanation at first but obviously I don't. I am not big enough to be replied I guess, or I am not a friend, a business partner or whatever measure of consequence with which people are judged these days. Thank you at
@anomadsoul for trying to shed light. I appreciate this.
I would really want to say so much about the Hive community and it saddens me that even with all the years, there is little or no difference in modus operandi from our steemit days when it comes to responsibility or accountability.
I depend on hive for two things.
It is my laboratory where I experiment with language and ideas. It is where I envision the first form my writing should take before I go out to the world with my work.
I make money here. I have been on this space since 2017. From steemit through the fork to Hive. I have played on Splinterlands, got the alpha cards back during the drop when it was still steemmonsters. I have traded on hive engine and sold And bought hive and hbd all over the place. Yes Hive puts food on my table.
These are good reasons to continue posting here. But it seems, I am not contributing anything to this space. I have decided to step away from posting here indefinitely. I will not be used as a punching bag by two grown folks who should have more sense. But you see power, it is the most addictive substance on earth. But It is fleeting for we are all dust.
So as of this moment, I cease posting here. Thank you to all my supporters. Every project that curated my work: @curie
@curangel #blockchainpoets
@inkwell among others.
I know I am probably writing this into an echo chamber which is fine but I am done with this nonsense. When you all can figure out yourselves, I may return. I hope those of you just starting out survive this place. It has promise. Presently it is not for me. Namaste.
