From a social point of view we are free and open minded. However put a lot of people on a tiny space and you'll run into problems.
A couple years ago there was an outbreak of Q-fever from a industrial goat dairy and people got sick (can't be cured). As a result most areas do not allow for new goat farms to be established.
We are scaredy cats and as soon as something animal-related happens we regulate it. A free homesteaders nightmare. Again, lots of people on a small space (land prices are also insane..)
