Hi. I see that you are using Aloe vera as a mulch or mulch to reduce the evaporation of water from the soil. Here in Peru it is summer and the sun is also shining. Just these days I also mulched them with another succulent plant (similar to Aloe vera). Thanks for sharing your experience. Big hugs!.
