The water
Still,
A shimmering glass
Nourishing dreams
Feeding tender life
And hidden creatures.
Sit beside shores
Attend the ear to
Quiet songs
Sung for patient ears.
Outstretching branches,
Arms embracing
Vibrant
Secret ecosystem;
Balance and order.
Offset to madness
Just beyond the lane.
Hidden treasury
A healing of her own
exquisite symmetry;
Far surpassing
All we know;
Absent guile
Or cruel humanity.
Feast the heart on purity
Such stark simplicity.
A teasing wind
Soft as embrace
fills the heart
Of empty space.
Safety,
Tranquility;
Peace
Infusing light.
Touch the waters
Let it run
Conduit through the spirit
And fingers
Spread wide.
Breathe the scent
Of ancient knowing
Absorb the ages
Wisely lingering here.
Leave no footprint
Save for awe.
Let paths which
Drew you
Bring you panting
Once again.
