We have had a very busy and spontaneous day today. Probably the highlight of our Easter weekend.
I’ve been wanting a dog for a few years now however my parents have always said no and to wait until I move out. After moving out, my other half and I talked about having a dog for a while however we felt it wasn’t the right time or we felt that we weren’t ready for it.
We don’t have kids and this whole isolation thing for us thinking if we can move the plan to have a dog a little early. We had a brief discussion and he said yes, it’s time! We weren’t sure what breed we wanted but we knew it had to be either a small or medium dog as we don’t have a big enough backyard for a big dog to run around. I’ve been looking at the local pet store’s Facebook page prior and kept up to date with the availability of pups they had. We decided to drop in that pet store today and our eyes were on this little cutie.
We were allowed to give it a cuddle and that’s when we realised that we couldn’t take our eyes off him! Giving each other the nod of approval, we put all the essentials into the trolley, we signed the papers, made the payment and took him to his forever home 🏠 .
Everyone, meet Taro! 🐶🐾 He is a Maltese x toy poodle and is 8 weeks old. He’s very playful, curious and friendly. He loves to follow us around the house and is still exploring the new environment.
